I suddenly recalled this blog. I was having some tough days recently (with my study and work), and I thought it would be a nice chance to write down my thoughts. I am going back to Japan this summer for the first time in 3 years! It's been such a long time since I left Japan with my solid determination to pursue M.A. and develop my career in the U.S. It was a sort of harsh situation at that time, when I was about to leave Japan. There were many things going on around me. I did not even know whether I really wanted to study abroad in the U.S. again. I do remember I was crying with my friends saying "I don' wanna go to the states. I wanna stay in Japan." Although it was me who decided to pursue M.A. in the states, I was so scared of my new life. I knew it would be super tough in next a few years. And yes, it was quite hectic and hard days during my M.A. coursework. Who knew this girl is in another M.A. program now? Nobody.
